German Pilot Demoted

Post by Orm »

Generalmajor Walter Grabmann does not begin as commander of his own unit (despite being the highest ranked officer).

After the commander of the unit is lost he is demoted to Lieutenant, and given command of the unit (and now he is not the highest ranked officer in the unit).

Interesting. I don't think the rank text means anything in the game, but it is worth taking a look.

Update - I see the problem in the code. It should be fixed for the next update which is just about ready. Too late for your demoted leader though.

Generalmajor Walter Grabmann does not begin as commander of his own unit (despite being the highest ranked officer) still remains true despite starting a new game with version 1.06.83.

Hi Orm,
I checked this out again and it is how the pilot data for this group is set up. So it's not really a bug, but its how someone before our team thought this group should be staffed.
