French foreign legion in Indochina

Post by KorutZelva »

I got a message saying the french foreign legion arrived in indochina... any body knows what triggers that? I guess that means there's a unit defending Hanoi again?

This means Vichy France has not been formed, and yes, it does mean the Japanese cannot walk in without expecting resistance if they were to declare war on Indochina.

However, it will not stop DE 802 or DE 809 from firing, so the country can, in due course, be occupied without fighting.

Arrrrg "all of France" is the gift that keeps ungiving.

Will I get a chance at the extra battleships that can happen when the UK recognize Vichy?

Need better 'all of France' perks... A bit of extra income, slightly less % mobilization for US that can't compete with Vichy + going for Tunisia+Algeria which only has a fraction of the headache of All of France (earlier plunder, France naval unit disbanding, cheaper invasion expenses, indochina defenseless).
