How did you make the whole map editable? Is it a one time thing or is it something others can also do?

All zones can be included as active on the map.

I think the real problem is that WITE also reckognizes specific sea zones as active, and thus Allies won't have cargo shipping across the Mediterranean or the Atlatic.
Correct me if I am wrong kindly.

Have you played it - and gone across the sea with the 'Western Allied' units?

I've not but I've tinkered in modding, on a ground connection it's not a problem to label say London, Liverpool, Manchester - and maybe Tunis and Algiers and Cairo and Alexandria as NSS (like Berlin or Moscow).
But once you get ashore at the other end of the Channel or the Mediterranean - then what?

I do not have an answer for that, modding tools are not there, and I can understand that.

In my logic, there is already a -full European map-.
The Editor has all the War in the West units included, simply disabled.
If Players can simply mod it, a 'War in Europe' game (prolly starting in '41 or so) would never sell; and possibly later on some '39 start DLC with/out a diplomacy module.

But if amateur tinkering can produce the same...

I started this scenario and yes, Western Europe is now playable. How did you make the map playable/active? Is it a one time thing or is it something others can also do? This means that we could do a Western Europe scenario. If we could edit the date, we could do a 1939 scenario. yyuegu - can you tell us how you did this fix/enhancement to the map?

I have never heard from "yyuegu" about how to do this, I reached out to Dennis and Trey via private message, I am hoping they will reply soon. I also asked if the start date could be changed, so that we could do scenarios from perhaps Spain in 1936 and Poland in 1939. I think if that start date could get edited we could create early Europe WW2 scenarios, making this an incredible game

right-click on a map region in the editor, it shows country/region name in the drop down, select this and you can reassign it to map
