Armor Piercing Optimization (#53)

Can anyone tell me what the prerequistite needed to unlock this tech for discovery? I can get everything else in the Applied Chemistry group. Manual did not help. Thanks in advance for any help!

If you can get everything else in the Applied Chemistry group, then you have access to armor piercing op.
If you hover over the tech, a tooltip will show you the requirements for that tech.
Please, post a picture or a save.

You need to develop an RPG model before it opens. I'm not sure if the game or the manual has any information on the model requirements of linear techs. I remember getting stumped by it at some point when I couldn't optimize armor piercing for my masses of tank brigades because I hadn't made infantry AT.

Edit: Looking at the tech prequisites from the debug tables, a light tank model should be ok too; dunno if it's been adjusted recently (in the last year), or if it doesn't work for some reason.

Magirot, I do NOT have an RPG model built. In fact, I haven't discovered the bazooka type.

Did it unlock after researching an RPG model? It would be good information for a bug report, since judging from the tech debug table I assume it's not intentional that the bazooka model is an absolute requirement.
