Ground Element Type List - organized

Post by Wiedrock »

Today I found this List in my Google Docs after searching for it several times and assuming it died with my SSD, it somehow managed it to land in the completely wrong folder back when I was creating it (it's been a while).

Using the following Link you can access the Google Docs Sheet which contains 2 Sheets.
The second one is the vanilla values ordered in vanilla fashion and the first one gets it's infos from those vanilla sheet and has the elements properly organized.

The idea was to have a understandable overview to use for Modding CV values of the different ground elements. e.g. differentiate CV between a 2men AT-Rifle and a 5-6men AT-Gun and make Tanks/expensive equipment have slightly more CV than currently. The intent of the latter is to make Soviet late game Tank Corps (which have an low Manpower/low CV density per Hex) a more viable option to the heavily CV dense Rifle Corps.

Contents:
  • A Collumn for all Element Types which are affected by the "open top - only 50% CV modifier". At least all I could find (not sure if I tested 100% back then when I did this).
  • A Collumn which shows the actual CV when those 50% are applied (so what's actually effective in game).
  • A Collumn for "Support Needs" (I think generally well balanced/thought through, may have some micro-minor modding opportunities.)
  • 4 Collumns intended for balancing/modding:
    • AFV (if the elements are usually categorized as such - Note: SPAA is a weird outlier changing yes/no AFV status depending on Formation the SPAA is inside)
    • Armor (if the element has any armor)
    • Turret (as of now empty)
    • "Bias Modifier" - only in the "first sheet" (as of now empty - should be the only "subjective" collumn)
  • A Collumn for info on which faction/game/country uses this element type (as always, may not be 100% filled out/correct)
  • A Collumn for Notes
There is no "SUM" collumn as of now, if one wants to use it for that purpose one has to add it themselve, add more Collumns and whatnot.
