Does World in Flames work using Wine or Codeweavers Crossover?

Thanks!

Wine on Linux? Yep, It sure does. Although I tend to find that when moving around the map the screen refresh is a bit too laggy for my taste. Other than that it does work. Keep in mind of course, totally not supported and would suggest strongly that you shouldn't post support issues if running under this platform.

For the record, I tested it with opensuse 15.3 which is my preferred distro, but any reasonable modern distro should offer similar results.

Brian.

Does anyone know a solution to the lag mentioned? It is not like a game breaker, but would enjoy more without it.

Yes, the lag issue scrolling around the map appears to be resolved in the latest version of Wine ( Wine 10.0-rc4 ). Binary packages are available for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Suse, Slackware, FreeBSD. at winehq.org.

Thank you very much for the notice! I updated my Wine to 10.0-rc5 and it did fix the lag issue.

Thanks for the information.
I successfully tested CrossOver 25.0(Wine 10.0) with a 2017 model MacBook Air, the scroll lag issue was fixed.
