In both WarPlan & WarPlan Pacific as playing as the Allied player in single player games I've run into the same issue - allied units are not allowed to enter hexes controlled by another allied nation??? Why not?? I did not see this issue playing WarPlan (Europe) as the Axis player in a single player game - my minor country units could go freely through any Axis controlled hex??? This feature (or bug?) is quite annoying especially towards the end of a game. Is there some role or game setting switch that I'm unaware of? Is there a patch to fix this problem? I'd be grateful if someone could direct this to whoever can answer this; as it stands currently I find the game essentially unplayable from the Allied player side... which is a real shame.

Which allied countries do you mean? The Western Allies can't enter Soviet hexes. That should be it.

In the Pacific Western Allies can't enter China or Russia.

Without these in place there are exploits the allies can do to ruin the game.

For example Imagine no D-Day and the Western Allies just ship units and planes into Russian just destroying Germany from the East.

Or Allied units in China.

Are you playing a modified game?

Hello! Short answer (at least in WarPlan Pacific) is that I was attempting to transfer the relatively numerous Indian Infantry corps into China.. which apparently isn't allowed? I missed that significant fact in the rules... the Indian army with help from the Americans had taken/liberated Thailand (and Indonesia)... at which point I assumed moving into China to reinforce the Chinese was the best option available (my transport capability is, no surprise, limited due to advancing the American units requiring most of that capability.) If the Indians can't go into China I probably made a mistake building so many infantry corps. (shrug.)

Indians can go anywhere except China.

There wasn't much cooperation between the 2 sets of land forces. Both sides were kind of "don't want those X people on my land". But if I did it would be a huge exploit. Can you imagine just sending 1-2 USA infantry to China?
