The open letter in the Milwaukee Sentinel forced the senior senator to take a position on the issue. This in turn prompted the Speaker of the House, Sam Rayburn, to call for the Service Extension Act , as the war spreading in Europe is troubling. (1 rolled)

- The attack on Riga is currently automatic at 45:2. Two ENG assist with the assault. If Soviet defensive air doubles the defenders then a final odds of +19,5 is expected. Germany has two FTR3 that can intercept. Will USSR fly?
