CAP altitude guide

Post by Tcao »

Hi
wondering if there is any guideline on setting up CAP altitude for:

1, Land base defense, expecting the enemy fighters sweep in next few turns (I would imaging it is still better to put your fighter at the altitude band with the good Maneuver performance?)

2, CV TF expects a duel with enemy CV TF, a lot of DB and TB with strong escort will swam you next turn.

There are guidelines.

Also, why do you want to engage the fighter sweeps? Why not engage the enemy bombers?
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

You have to have the correct CAP settings. There are references to that in AARs.
