Channel Islands

I am afraid the Channel Islands don't show up correctly in the game.

It shows up with a rather weak infantry division and a bit of Flak in a Fort 2.

In reality this infantry division had a few addons from navy and air force and Cruishank lists in 1943 24-27.000 and in July 1944 23.500.
Artillery was heavily fortified and with calibers up to 30,5 cm covering the sea between the islands and the French coast.
Mayne lists 55 artillery pieces, half of them 15 to 29cms and 137 flak including 36 88s and a company or 2 worth of French tanks and don't forget the underground hospital in St. Peter, Jersey.

It was a fortress, not a fortified position.
More than 100.000 mines and 484.000 m³ of reinforced concrete, which was 8% of the total spent on the Atlantik Wall.
Everyone who has seen the French coast is puzzled by the density in Jersey. Two different worlds.
Cruishank states the reason for this were plans for a permanent strongpoint.

The consequence -which also does not show in the game- was that the sea left of Cotentin was offlimits until May 45.
