Search a strong Opponent for 1914 campaign

Post by GinngoAR »

Hello
I am looking for a strong player for a round in WW1 in the 1914 campaign. I have played more than 30 rounds of PBEM and have only lost one so far and am looking for a new challenge. I can play around 5 rounds a week depending on what is going on. I don't care which side.
Best regards

Hello if you can't find anyone I am ok to try. I won 8 of my 9 games on WW1. But I define myself as more of an intermediate level.

Hello Cuirassier2
I would love to play a round against you. Do you care which side you play?

Hello GinngoAR, No preference for my side. Choose as you want or choose a coin toss.

Hello Cuirassier2

I was just about to send you a PM. But I just realised that I can't send PMs. I have contacted the admins about this. If I can send PMs I will send you a message with the password. I would choose the middle powers.

@ Moon1

Same problem as above.

Ok. I'll just host a game, account name is Moongaz3r, 1914 is the password

Well done, GG.

I don't think I can win this game. I don't know what you think. I feel like my only big mistake was failing to preserve the French army in 1914. Afterward, I had to bring back British reinforcements, which weakened me on other fronts.

Edit : It's curious this massive investment in airships.

hello....
to all players on this chain....

I am running a Call to Arms tournament. (Moongaz3r, of course knows this because he is one of the players)....
Its April 2.... and one of our players needs to withdraw....

I am looking for 1 player to take on the Entente and "sub" for him.
We are asking players that can play around one-move-a-day.... but most are probably around 4-5 moves/week.

We are just entering round-4 of the tournament. I cant guarantee more games, as the elimination round starts with round-5... so you don't have to commit to additional play... but the opportunity may arise!

Its first come, first serve.... best way to contact me is email: gkizziah@aol.com
Thanks for your interest,
Gary

hello it is April-3
The one open "sub" spot apparently has been filled.

however... If you are looking for a "strong opponent"... you can still respond to my email (gkizziah@aol.com)... and I will try to match you with a player. (Email seems to be a faster way to connect than the forum private message system.).... Also, if we get a new tournament together, you'll be added to the interest list.... several players indicated they would have joined, but only check their pm occasionally.

Regards to All...
