MP-server problems again, again and again

There is recurring problems with the MP-server (see picture). For two days I have not been able to access the server area. Some times if I do get in to the MP-server area, I can not load the ongoing match and the game totally shut down.

This problem has going on back and forth for months now. Some times no problems, some times daily problems. I know that there has been problems with the MP-server, but is it only me or is this a bigger and bigger problem? And what are Matrix Game doing about it in that case?

Hello,

I'll check into this with our server team, but I know that in general over the last two weeks we've been under periodic DDOS attacks which have caused our servers to at times appear offline (they were not). We ended up changing ISPs to be able to better mitigate these attacks, which also caused some temporary interruption because of DNS changes. Our servers were up, but it took time for people to be able to find them again.

We'll linvestigate if there's anything else going on beyond that which could have interfered with MP for you.

Hi Jeff,

This was indeed related to the mitigation we had to do against the DDOS attack. We've made some additional changes that should minimize the change of this affecting the PBEM++ server again, so hopefully you will not see it repeat. Let us know if you do.
