Your favourite scenarios?

I kind of exhausted/got bored of the campaigns and the DLCs and started to look towards the player-made CMO stuff.

Thus comes the question. What are your favourite non-official scenarios and most importantly, why?

I would appreciate it, if you could suggest me some really well made/scripted/balanced scenarios, preferably with a lot of flavour (i.e. detailed briefing, in-game events etc.). It doesnt hurt if the scenario is post-tiny compatible either.

Getting into a CMO game is a considerable time investment and it sucks if you find out only hours later that the scenario is either a complete mess or just "meh".

I've got several favorites of mine, but they may not appeal to everyone since i've got some specific tastes.

I generally favor scenarios that

A) Are played from BLUFOR sides (i.e. NATO/Western Alliance forces)
B) Are Cold War I and Cold War II situations (both tensions and actual hostilties)
C) Focus on surface/ASW warfare and/or Aircraft Carrier operations
D) Generally don't have the player control more than 1-3 formations of ships
E) Are not very fast paced, allowing me to take my time and work on some other things while it's running in real time.

These arn't exclusive, but my favorites tend to have one or more of these traits.

With that in mind, here's a list of some of my favorites among Community (non-official) scenarios:

Your A,B,C,D, E is exactly what I also like to play.

By chance do you have new entries to that list you could recommed, I recently played through all your suggestions and they were are great.

Mediterranean Fury 1.

I like:
-massive scenarios with lots of units in relatively small areas (mainly to avoid the constant game issues with refueling)
-playing with non-US units
-"surprise" scenarios that require coordination and has a lot of flexibility on how/where to attack
-Lua options for the player to choose from

For detailed briefings plus events, I highly recommend the scenario Under African Skies, 2017 by Feltan. The scenario is a 3 day sandbox where you are given a limited set of US assets to prepare the way for an invasion of Nigeria, but there is a constant stream of secondary objects and flavor events that enhance the experience.

I second that! Amazing scenario.

Keeping with my past entries.

1. Indian Ocean Fury 2: Mozambique Madness - Big with a lot of multinational units to play and to fight with variable capabilities to utilize or cope for.
2. Caribbean Fury 1: Hot Tamale! - Ditto to the above plus I always love playing in the sunny Caribbean.
3. Under African Skies - A classic scenario, I should have downloaded Stoic Frogs playthrough before his channel disappeared.
4. Pacific Fury 4: I Come from a Land Down Under - Ditto the above Fury scenarios.
5. Northern Fury 34 - The Longest Battle - Man I love a massive convoy campaign.

Deter, Detect, Defend and Wargasm 1962 are also excellent choices to tackle Cold War bomber battles defensively and offensively. The V Bombers (the UK companion to Wargasm) is also top notch.

Seven Days in October is probably the best and most engaging Cuban Missile Crisis scenario bar none.
