Colonisation range on map

Post by deMangler »

I know this has been brought up before - I ask because maybe it has been addressed.
Is there a way of showing colonisation range on the map?
I am starting a new map with low range settings and I am right at the edge of the galaxy pretty far from nearest other stars. Not sure if it is worth continuing to play it to find out through other methods.

Other than using the range tool and check the max colonization range (which you set before the game start), measuring from any colonized planet, then there is no way to find out.

Oh cool. Thanks. I have seen a range tool mentioned before but didn't know it had been implemented. Where is it?

You just hold down "Alt" and click and drag the tool on the map.
