How to insert offline images into events or briefings

This subject was not retrievable in the CMO manual, so I am asking this on the forum.
I am working on a Cold War 1989 Sandbox (no not a scenario, but this is something you can built). And I am 90% finished but I get stuck on attaching offline images
It would be nice to put some images in a briefing or Scenario title, events etc. This is easy with online images but is there a way to attach offline images?

I see in the Steam content that every scenario has a folder named attachments

But if I put an image inside and try to copy the windows link, the image does not appear.
Can anybody help me how to do this?



The Cold War vibe is going strong with the DLC Fail Save coming. And the Oceanic Horizons (an Extended Cold War mod)
To give you an idea (teaser), all the locations and units are historicly accurate and this was the situation in january of this year. I will post it in due time so everybody can use it.

Let me know if you need any data on 1989. Pretty sure I have a digital edition of The Military Balance for that year as well.

I've also got a list somewhere of every Soviet airbase with lat and long that can be used to generate any bases you don't have on your map.
