Looking for an Allied Opponent for BtR

Post by Cones2002 »

I'm looking to do a 43 campaign as the Axis and would like an Allied opponent for it.

Depending on how long it takes for someone to bite, I'll likely have the Axis movement/production turn finished.

I prefer to be contacted through Discord -> .cones.

But I will check the forum every so often as well.

Hi,

I am interested in doing this but unless you live close by or is this something that can be done online? I am older and I have no idea how to do discord. I live in Rhode Island.

Sincerely,

Ed

Hi Ed,

Normally you'd email the turns to each other but I've found Discord to be more reliable for myself since I'm terrible at looking at my emails.

I'm pretty sure you could use any online communication platform as long as you can send the turn files. Could probably use WhatsApp tbh.

I'm currently doing 2 PBEMs. One very slow and one that we do 2-3 turns a week on. I think I can squeeze another one in for you if you're interested.

I would like to try it maybe once a week. If you are patient with me at first, I have no idea how to transmit files/turns. When I was young I used to be very good learning anything computer related but I haven't kept up with modern times. If you could explain what I need to do I should be able to get it with not much help, but I have people I could go to for help as well.

That works for me :)

As you can probably tell, I'm rather bad at checking the forums. Was there another method of communication we could use to allow for instant messaging?

It'll allow me to more easily send the files as well as videos for helping.

Sorry for the late response. Been a busy week.

Email works just fine. I'll send you through a test email today :)
