[NO REPRO] Game unplayable ;(

I'm running Win 11 with an AMD CPU, AMD Radeon 6800XT (16 gigs) and 32 gigs of RAM. CMO recognizes my GPU card, and I have the latest CMO update. But -- like so many other complaints on this forum -- the sim is now so laggy and filled with hiccups that's it's unplayable. Has anyone figured out how to fix this??

Would simplifying my map graphics help? If so, what settings should I adjust and how?

Thanks for any counsel. It's a great sim, but it literally no longer works.

I'm afraid this is not very helpful. Can you please provide some specific examples? One or more save files would also help a lot.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Will do in the next 24 hours. But in the meantime I've rolled the sim back to the 32-bit legacy beta, and it runs much more smoothly despite my 64-bit environment. No problems or lag yet.
