Wallpaper stops WITPAE from running

I had no trouble running our beloved game, (using SeaBee's program), but now I have a new problem. My wallpaper keeps covering the screen and flashing, preventing me from running the game.

Can you post your switches line? It sounds like a switch problem....GP

Could also be a Windows transparency setting issue. If you have transparency ON, Windows will keep trying to show through and the game will keep overlaying the map on it. Make transparency Opaque. Also, do not run the game on CPU1 as Windows hogs that. Use -cpu2 or higher (set with the switches in the shortcut).

One reason for this "transparency problem" is -dd_sw switch. Depending on system, it either should be in shortcut or not.

It can only be determined by trying.
