Pack: Updated Scenario Descriptions - Spelling Corrected base game scenario descriptions + briefings

After noticing quite a few typos and spelling errors in base game / DLC scenario descriptions, which detracts from the polish of the game - I decided to take matters into my own hand and resolve these.

I've went through every Scenario description visible in the "New Game" dialogue - This includes Tutorials, Standalone Scenarios and all DLC up to and including Fail Safe. It does not include the community scenario pack.
I haven't went through subsequent briefing screens for any scenario - I may do this in future; but wouldn't hold your breath.

I've uploaded all corrections (~110 files) into a zip file here (due to the 10MB limit on attachments here). Just copy the "Scenarios", "Lua" and "QuickBattle" folders from the zip file below into your base CMO game folder.

To be clear: All credit lies with the original scenario authors for the significant effort they've put into their scenarios and descriptions - I just wanted to improve the polish and am not seeking any benefit from this. I am happy for these corrections to be included in a future game update without any expectation for credit, recognition etc.

I don't know if there has been much interest in this (I can't see how many times it's been downloaded) - but I have spent a few more hours and the download below (V2) now has 110 updated files:

Changes from V1:
Updated all accessible briefings as well as scenario descriptions to remove spelling errors. Corrected spelling issues on QuickBattle configuration screen (temparature -> temperature and seperation -> separation).
Doubled number of updated files from ~55 to ~110.

Note: I have not checked/corrected subsequent screens; following the side briefings at the start of the scenario. These are significantly more effort and would require a lot more time. IF there is meaningful demand; or it is likely that these changes will be included in the base game then I will try to spend the time doing this - If not, this will likely be the final version.

Note 2: Some scenario briefings are inaccessible (e.g. Falklands DLC) - I assume they are stored in an encrypted scenario file and can't be accessed by us mere mortals. If I'm missing something straightforward let me know and I'll check the hidden files.

Note 2: Some scenario briefings are inaccessible (e.g. Falklands DLC) - I assume they are stored in an encrypted scenario file and can't be accessed by us mere mortals. If I'm missing something straightforward let me know and I'll check the hidden files.

The Falklands briefings are built into the scenarios, there shouldn't be anything fancy about them. You should be able to edit them normally in game via the editor dropdown menu.

I see in the latest beta that all the spelling mistakes are back.
If I update these files to be based on the ones provided in the latest Beta is there any interest from the devs for incorporating into the game?
If not, it's not worth the manual effort to update these for each release that the scenario DB is updated

I assume that there won't be any changes by the maintainer since 1706 - If there is then use his scenarios as the master version and I can update anything that's missed

Just to confirm, you used the scenarios (specifically the one from TSS) from B1706? I just fixed TSS, I don't want reintroduce errors.

Yes, all the scenarios are from the latest beta build on this forum (1706).
There's only one silent service scenario in the pack - I checked and this is the latest version that's been released. However; iirc it was a very trivial change I made to the briefing text on this scenario; so if you have major concerns I wouldn't lose any sleep if it's not updated.

If you do want to cross check anything with notepad or notepad++: the scenario version, database version and long scenario string should be identical in all cases to the versions you have.

To b clear, all the changes so far have only been to the briefing or introductory text for each scenario. I haven't delved in and made changes to any popups or scenario content - I may do this in future if it's useful and I get time.
