Games running slower than before

Post by bladesinger79 »

PC: Dell PCS 8900, 8 years old.
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz
RAM: 32GB
GPU: NVIDIA 1660

The last several scenarios have shown a delay in gaming. Loading circle stops play often. I tried different sized scenarios, same problem, give or take the size of the scenario. Conducted some troubleshooting, here's what I did:

Logged on to NVIDIA, uploaded CMO exec file.
Settings: changed the graphics settings for CMO to high performance.
Restarted the system.

Results are a slight improvement, but not by much.

I don't know how to attach files for a visual.

Need help. Hoping the solution is not to buy a better PC. I don't remember these problems before.

I have not kept track of earlier versions to my ignorance. I do know my current version is 1.07.1567.6.

Forgive my lack of computer skills. Once I learn how to compress and attach files today, I will upload them for you. If I can find my save files that is...

I need help. I saved three different scenarios with the loading issues in my CMO. Trying to attach them, no joy, I don't see them on my PC except when playing. This is what I tried:

Local Drive (C) > Program Files (x86) > steam > Steamapps > Common > CMO > Scenarios > Saved Games.

No files at all. But I see them in Saved Games when I boot up the game. I made certain these were not saved under editor mode. The three files are well under 10 MB.

"uploaded CMO exec file"

I'm mostly curious what this means.

Something to do with boosting a game in NVIDIA. CMO was not listed in my library beforehand, until a few days ago. I still may have made a mistake in that.
