SC: WWI Linux Support

Post by cptbryan »

Since SC WWII : War in the Pacific has recently received Linux support, has there been any plans announced to expand support to the other titles in the series? As great as it's been playing SC WWII:WitP on my Steam Deck, it would be great to enjoy SC: WWI and SC: ACW as well!

@cptbryan is it also possible to play WWII: WitP currently on a Linux PC and not using Steam Deck? If so, how can this be achieved to take advantage of the latest Linux support? I still don't see an option to download a native Linux install file such as a `.deb` for example. I have heard about Proton on Steam, but I am not sure how to use it for Strategic Command, and if this is how people are playing it currently on Linux or if there is another way? Thanks!
