Tankhead? Anybody Know Anything?

Post by Wild Bill »

I know Tankhead had a big move and some vacation coming, but I am getting concerned. Has anyone heard from him in the last 2 weeks?

I hope you are okay, Rick, whereever you are in that northern wilderness. We are thinking about you.

No word yet from him. He was planning of putting a hook in every fish-bearing stream & lake on his trip through the Northwest Territories & Yukon, but I too figure he should be telephoning soon. I'll post a note here if I hear from him, WB.

Thank you, Bonzo!

I feel a little more at ease. Rick is a close friend and I was concerned for him.

Keep me posted, please...WB

 Been closer to three weeks. I've been nagging him about scenario stuff
recently via email, but haven't heard a peep out of him. I finally assumed he was on vacation. MINE should be this long! But anyway, I hope all is well and he's having
some fun. His mailbox will be at the bursting point when he gets back. :D

Sorry, Greg.

Tankhead has me emptying & archiving his mailbox. I thought about replying to a number of folks, but, once I start that, when do I stop? Also it would entail me reading his mail, to beable to intelligently reply. This I have not done.

A message was posted on the forum to announce his vaction and I bumped it a few times in the first week. As the mail traffic fell off from names I recognized from the forum, I didn't see the need to keep the message up at the top.

As it is, Tankhead will have a lot of reading to do when he resurfaces.

Ah my old buddy Tankhead is up hugging trees in the frozen North. I look forward to his return so once again I can watch his Crocidiles and other funny critters spit fire on my panicky Volksgrenadiers while it rains HE and rockets. (like in the good old days before WildBill sent us to Afrika) Have fun Rick, I'll keep some cold ones ready for you.

Ah well, thats fine. I'm on and off and don't always spot everything of interest.
I'll catch up with all the issues when he gets back.

Best wishes,

Greg.

Tankhead has reported in and is in the process of building a log cabin in the Yukon Territory c/w DSL internet. Aahh!! Nothing like roughing it in the great northern wilderness :D

He hopes to be back online in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile he's slaving away fishing for salmon & arctic char and hunting moose for his dinner.
