[DB REQUEST + PEBKAC] AIM-260 debugging

As seen in the link the AIM260 seeker head do obtain infra-red sensor windows at its nose, that makes great resemblance with the ones from mako. However despite all that the AIM-260 from og database have no IR seeker whatsoever, its topspeed is also fixed at 2650 kts, while evidence suggests that AIM-260 irl will most likely have topspeed very close to that of mako. The flight profile of PL-17 being 3450 kts with absolute 0 backup for it under this kontext is just stupidly hilarious. The closed loop switch range AIM-260 is also way too far that almost seems deliberatly done to nerf it, it will frequently go dumb even with tracking data from launching platform and other radars when engaging stealth targets. (yet it is said to have cec in the CMODB lmfao)

The correct place to request Database changes is here:

https://github.com/PygmalionOfCyprus/cm ... dated-desc

Feel free to make your case there with your (unclassified) evidence. The DB team is currently in the process of a huge US military unit review.
It's worth noting that there's little solid information on the AIM-260 in non-classified environments. CMO Devs don't do balance over hard evidence, that's the scenario designer's job; this isn't DCS or War Thunder where there are balance considerations.

"stupidly hilarious"

There are ways to influence people and establish credibility and this is not one of them.
