Question about SU

when do you guys add SU to corps? 2nd turn as axis? or do you wait? or do you only give SU to certain number of corps like motorized/armor divisions? what about infantry corps? still learning this game as their is a lot to learn.

Not sure I 100% understand the question, but in the GC '41 game you should have SUs attached to Axis Corps from the get-go. IIRC, some of the HQs have tons of SUs, and some have none, so you'll likely want to switch some around to balance out.

There's 1 HQ that has most of the siege artillery attached; you probably do want to send those SUs to OKH, and redeploy when you need it to crack forts, like Leningrad or Sevastopol

You probably want to be more generous with SUs for Panzer Corps, since they are more important, but every corps should at least have some artillery attached

The main question is do I leave su in corp hq as us or do I send them to okh to reassign them as I feel should be or do I just leave them as is. Guess this is what I've read ppl say "you need to send them to okh" still learning.

Some people send all to OKH instantly for 2 reasons that I am aware of:

• they do not want to "waste"/risk losing Artillery in anyways easily won battles (people may ignore/forget about the possible EXP gains)
  → regarding the rare pretty heavy Artillery pieces this makes sense, as Q-Ball already said.
• they can't cope with the organization/structure in any other way - so they "reset all" and then re-assign all themselves to cope with the copious amount of SUs and have their OCD satisfied.

As a general note. In Hasty attacks (of which you do a lot on T1), Artillery SUs can be committed, but in about 50% of Hasty attacks they seem to not rly fire, so there seems to be some randomness in this regard. This may be a fact supporting sending them/some to OKH.

As with many things, there is not the one 100% answer, some do so, some so.
