[1662] Chainsaw movement set up problem

Post by Knightpawn »

(unfortunately the forum does not allow me to upload zips for now. Hopefully it will be resolved soon)

I tried to set up an AAW patrol with chainsaw movement (choosing from the respective drop down list in the mission editor) but I get the message that at least 2 a/c or groups of a/c are need for the mission. The thing is that I have assigned 20+ a/c (of which 2 flights (x2) were airborne already)

Any explanations. Has anyone had this set up properly already?

I followed the video and was able to get it working. There are a lot of small nuances.

That is interesting.

Did you manage to choose "Chainsaw loop" in the movement style drop down and not get a message saying "Chainsaw pattern not set correctly - There needs to be at least 2 aircrafts or groups asigned [sic] to the mission"? That is despite having assigned 4 or more aircrafts to the mission.

I get the same issue as Knightpawn in 1662.

I was willing to accept that I still did not know how to set it up properly, but no one has taken me up on being able to provide a working example.

I know it generally worked in 1638. Haven't tried it in 1662.
