Game is unplayable since 1.06

I tried to get back to this marvel of a game and updated to 1.06. But now it became buggy and unplayable. In the planning phase with the new click UI I select a unit, click on a target hex and a completely different unit from far away gets moved there. Happened so often that I switched back to the old drag and drop UI. But then I finished a turn and it warns about unused assets. This is okay and I clicked ok, then it asked if I want to move to the next turn.I clicked ok again. Then it calculated and instead of showing the movie it asks again if I want to move to the next turn. This time I said no, since I want to see what happened and the it displays "Please wait", but never returns.
