Hi all, I’ve been thinking of picking up War in the Pacific: Admiral’s Edition, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether Matrix typically runs a summer or early fall sale? I’d appreciate any insight or past experiences — no worries if it’s not something that can be predicted. Thanks!

They used to do one around June 6th (celebrating D-Day) but I can't recall one of those in the few past years.

A June 6th sale would be so nice! Hopefully christmas comes early. Tough question to answer I think but any games that scratch the itch like WITP looks like it does?

Thanks for the replies everyone...its going to be tough to wait for a sale. Been watching some lets plays and wow loving the scope and depth. But if I buy right now and then see a sale in a week or two I will be kicking myself for not waiting. So the battle of willpower continues as I watch for the next sale.

think of it like this, how much do you pay to go to the movie theater these days? and you get 2-2.5 hours of maybe ok entertainment, while this game will give you hundreds of hours (in my case many more thanks to Devonshire's persistence) for a few bucks more!!!
