Concerned by the deaths of a few of my fav authors (especially Caleb Carr, Sharon Kay Penman, Tom Clancy, Michael Crichton, and Colleen McCullough), I thought I would do a survey of living vs. dead famous fiction writers. This survey then got out of hand as I expanded it back in time. I surprised myself on which famous names were older or younger than others – often contrary to my assumptions.

I went on to add five scientists and five wargame designers for comparison. (Richard Berg dead!)

Enjoy!

This author will be dead soon if he cannot get his steam version of TAOW to work on proton or wine soon.

I need your help.

Is there a trick to getting it to work right on Proton? I read somewhere that it works well on the Steam console Steam db says it works too. I am looking to migrate all my Slitherine products from Steam, on my machine using the latest wine and winetricks technology. I want TOAW to be the first one on my list.

I did not know where else to find you, so I jumped on the first post I saw you make. Please help...
