New Monitor 5120x1440 Counters not readable

Hi Team
freshly installed from Matrix site after some years of not playing. Now I have a 5120x1440 monitor.
I assume below issue is based on that ? any workaround ?
When I start error message is shown multiple times. If I ignore them game starts but counters are "destroyed" not readable.

I found out "by accident" when I launch the -slow Version it works and Counters look fine.
Can someone please explain whats different in the -slow Version and if there are any downsides using it ?

I'm no authority on such matters, but since no one else has weighed in yet I will suggest to make sure you are on the latest patch. Update v4.1.0.40 :

Well, from the way back machine, the 'slow' version was for older operating systems. I used to use it a lot as I didn't move off of W7 until the hell froze over. There is no downside that I am aware of.
