The GPU has nothing to do with simulation execution performance.

I have noticed a slow down in the benchmark when the intel GPU is used instead of the dedicated nVidia.

I will try to reproduce.

In the last build the use of CPU and GPU while idle is very high.

Thanks, I thought something was wrong with my laptop! Nobody else commenting it.

Just launching CMO the fans start making noise, this happens since build 1645, and worsening with every build after that, CPU and GPU high usage while idle.

There was a bug that forced the map rendering to happen even if the main window was hidden or minimized. Fixed for the next update (after B1676).
