Im The Last One To Complain About Bugs But....

Post by Gen. Maczek »

There is one little thing that greatly annoys me simply because it is such a vital part of my preperation in chosing forces before the battle...The view map function simply does not work when buying core forces! Only when support points are allowed to be spent, am I shown the map...Before that it simply shows a plain green map with nothing on it! And usualy I find myself in situations where the forces i bought with core points simply are not suited to the terrain I have been ordered to fight on...
This is one bug I could not keep quiet about any longer...Any fixes?
Thank You
Regards

IMO it's not a bug. The flat map is only found in the "Campiagn generator". All other campiagns show the battle map during the core force selection. Since the "Campiagn Generator" allows you to pick the type of terrain you'll fight on before you even choose your core force , there is no mystery. After you have choosen your core force units and are sent to the auxillary units screen, the map and weather conditions, time of day, ect are now available. You aren't missing a thing, really.

And don't worry General. You won't be the last to point out possible bugs :D :D - but that is okay.

Matrix folks learn from these posts so keep 'em coming.

Being a positive constructive observation makes it very welcome here.

I think it's not a but either. Think about it, The War hasn't started yet, you are just preparing to it. Your country is organizing mobilization, you don't know if there really is going to be a war.
That's how I see the buying of core forces.
Just my opinion.
A world without armies
may one day exist.
A nation without an army
will one day not exist.
