Now available Retail in Australia!

Post by Panther Paul »

Well,

I walked into my local EB's at lunch time, and what did I see?

A HTTR box sitting up on the shelf [:)]

So all you Aussies that are thinking of buying it, no excuses now!

Well, did you tell the store manager that you are actually Panther Games? (I wonder if he would have believed you.)

Do game vendors do game signing promotions like book vendors, I wonder?

I think you really overestimate the "fame" you can earn in this industry. I have wittnesed the pitty of a Sid Meier signing promotion on one of the biggest game shows in the US. Some 10 odd people stood in row. It was Sid Meier, man.

Yes Marc. I agree. I approached my local Harvey Norman store and offered our time to do a signing. He was very nice and thanked me for the offer, but said he didn't think it was worth our time. Another wonderful opportunity to cultivate one of life's great virtues, humility. Or as Rudyard Kipling says "If you can treat those two imposters, praise and blame, just the same..." [:)]

Well done to Panther Games for bringing this to Australia.

Looking forward to purchasing this over the weekend at EB in Warringah Mall or if not there yet Harvey Norman in Balgowlah.

So nice to be able to pick up a quality game in the neighbourhood. [:)]

You lucky bugger. My wife grew up in Manly and I grew up in North Sydney. Is it still warm enough for the beach?

Pleased to report Manly had a cracker weekend - where the sun was hot but the air was cool. That's nice cause you can bake if you want or cool off in the shade. Many hit the beach this weekend. Me - I took my daughter for a spin down to Fairlight beach - she 8 months and from what I could tell loved every minute.

Congrats on a top game - loving it.
