Dimitris wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:58 am The CWDB update is now 1.56 GB, and contains 8385 files, and the DB3000 update is now 3.25 GB and contains 17899 files.

The images can also be downloaded on-demand from within CMO (no manual action needed). If you wish to re-download images that you have already got (e.g. to update), delete all files in these folders:
[CMO]\DB\Images\DB3000
[CMO]\DB\Images\CWDB

Special recognition for this release to Kgambit!
Two questions that may have been answered elsewhere and are obvious to may:
1) What is the case with conversion to WEPD that I read? Is it necessary to do for all the image files?
2) I did delete everything as suggested a month ago or so, but since then I have only downloaded 13xx files (in wepd format!) of all 17899. And in scenarios that I play there are many units that are without images.

Not all the units have an assigned pic, there are "holes".

Perhaps no pic found yet, or not of enough quality.

May you post an example of unit without pic, that you have noticed?

For example, while playing Pacific Furry 1:
#442 - MiG-31B Foxhound (Russia [1992-] - 1999) - no images

Yes, that one is missing.

According to the russian wikipedia:
A production version of the MiG-31 equipped with an in-flight refueling system; entered service in 1990.
Some pics available in these Russian sites.

Are you folks sure you have the most recent version of the image files? A slightly modified version of the second MiG-31B image that Nikel posted (the one by Dmitry Pichugin) is in the image file and has been for some time.

Here's the image:

The next update should be available soon.

OK, thanks.

I have not downloaded the full packages of pics.

I am talking about the pics that are downloaded automatically by the game from the server.

So there must be some discrepancies?

Same here. I have deleted everything and rely on auto downloads :-)

If you've updated to the beta then this might be temporary fallout from the jpg to webp conversion. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any discrepancies between the full download and the auto-download. I have the auto-download disabled and the full image pack loaded so I can't double check that atm.

Please tell me how to forcefully upload an image in webp format from the database. I've tried everything, but I can't get it to work. I still don't have any images...

I have them all in jpeg format. How can I convert them to webp format?

Good afternoon. I have converted the images to WEPB files, but I still have half of the database without images. Can you tell me what the problem might be? I followed the instructions using the XnConvert program....
