Windows 11 - Does anyone know....

Birth of America 2: Wars in America is the much expanded reprise of veteran developer AGEOD’s acclaimed first release, which allows players to command either side of the conflicts before, during and after the American War for Independence between 1636 and 1815. Apart from the engaging turn-based strategy play that has been expanded and vastly improved over the original, Birth of America 2: Wars in America includes major new features like an improved and expanded map including the Mississippi River, new European off-map boxes (France, Great Britain, Spain, Holland) and more.

Windows 11 - Does anyone know....

Post by Gilmer »

Well, has anyone been able to run it on Windows 11? Am I missing something like Net 4.5 or some other type file that if I had it, I could install and play?

Did you manually add your serial number in the General.opt file?

No. I get this message, though, in French. I translated it into English with Google translate:

"Access violation at address 007B963F in module WIA.exe. Reading address 000021."

I can always play it on Win 10, though, so all is not lost. It seems like it didn't install correctly. Do you think if I copied the installed game from my Win 10 computer that I could paste it in Win 11 file folder and play it?

Copy/pasting works.

In W10 at least. Cannot comment on W11.

Do not use a "Program Files" folder.

I just downloaded v.1.10e and it loaded well on Windows 11 without problems. I just bought it here. Go into My Page to get the right version.
