More Scenarios or Campaigns

Post by nikdav »

Hi,
I have a lot of ideas (on paper) for other DC4 scenarios, but I'd like to know which of the ones you've played you like the most to decide on the next one.

Every campaign or scenario starts with a good book or map and then I write down a paper A4 sheet with the date, objective, historical context, sources, order of battle and a sketch of the map.

To make a big campaign takes a lot of time (years) and the map is the element that takes the most time. The good thing is that when you have a campaign map, you can easily pull out any section to create a smaller scenario. The DC4 Ardennes map took 3 years, but Puffendorf only a week.

Thanks !
Davide

Great idea, but I wish there would be more of the small scenarios. It is not often possible to spend such a long time playing. So short more new scenarios would be great. A scenario focused on Kampfgruppe Peiper, 1.SS Panzerdivision would be great. DC:AO - great game, best in series!

I'll happily buy in to any further scenarios. I absolutely love this game.

My personal favorites, solo & multiplayer, are scenarios.

I'm with briklebritt - more small scenarios please.

Historical, fictional or semi fictional. Maybe even variants of the existing ones? I made some simple variants of Flashpoint Campaigns and Command Ops scenarios by altering the objectives which was easy because it didn't require any programming or original effort - just alter the location and/or point value and the AI would alter its behaviour too.

Anyway - thanks for this and the other games .

Do you still make new scenarios for DC4 because DC5 is around the corner? Loving DC4 and would be awesome to get new small scenarios.

Please do some new small scenarios. It would be great if there could be more variety in the regiments in new smaller scenarios. maybe a heavy tiger I division or a jagdtiger or jagdpanther division or something fresh new in the small scenarios.

Don't worry, I'm working on a new " small " scenario for a future DC4 update (hopefully with some of the new DC5 features).

Great news, looking forward possible to get some new DC5 features in DC4. Beeing part of the DC5 alpha test, but still loving that Ardennes scenario and winter ww2 period 44/45. Thumbs up!
