Hi Tanaka,

Yes, Germany is part of the game. I caught The Historical Gamers stream live on Saturday, though I joined around the 5:30 mark and missed the earlier comment around 4:20.

Germany begins as a non-belligerent ally of China, providing MPPs and support, but gradually shifts its alignment toward Japan. This evolving relationship becomes a source of tension through in-game events and decisions as Germany distances itself from China.

Later in the game, France’s surrender to Germany triggers a crisis in Indochina, adding another layer of friction and complexity.

I did hear other comments and have updated the campaign accordingly. I see Part Two was posted about four hours ago—I'll watch that today.

Thanks for the clarification! Have not played that scenario yet but looking forward to it! Finishing up the Imphal scenario for OCB YT coming out! Great stuff!

The German-equipped Chinese army units were primarily part of the National Revolutionary Army (NRA), specifically the elite German-trained divisions.
So ingame, some of these 'NRA' Nat Chinese units are near peer with Japanese units. That means they are valuable.

I was also watched the live stream and commented with some info as he was playing. I never usually comment in live streams but hoped it was helpful, but never heard any acknowledgement from him about any of what I wrote.
I would say THG's Hq rigor needs work...and also why his cohort fondly calls him 'The Butcher'

I did see a CCP plane fly into an isolated area in Shantung. I'm sure Robert saw that too. That AI decision probably should get corrected. ;)

Hi OCB,
I definitely missed the CCP plan action described. Can you tell me around what time it was?

Not off hand but it was after Shantung fell. It was late in the vid. He actually was attacking it. Later I can check that vid and screen capture a shot.
Edit. I canvassed that whole video and must of mistaken the fighter. I thought I saw a fighter with a red star down in Shangtung after the Japanese bribed the governor DEC.

Oh yes, you are correct.
However, the fighters with a red star are of the Soviet Volunteer Group (SVG).

Ah ha! SVG. OK I mis-identified. But indeed I did see a red star on the wing of a 3d Sprite aircraft but thought it was CCP somehow.
Well I'm more used to NATO counters for quick identification plus I was multi-tasking while watching the live stream. ;)
