Development on the expansion is ongoing. Once we're ready to share news, we'll be sure to let the player base know!

My wishlist and additions:

Sortable columns:
• set up strike
• fleet organization
• research

Add:
• Heavy Bombers (for real)
• VSTOL
• AEW
• ECM
• ARM
• Nuclear power
• Vertical launch missile systems.

Ah, thank you

Nuclear propulsion is out - we don't have real world data for battle damage.

ARM, VSTOL and VLS are probably not going to fall in the time frame of the game - AFAIK, it's still ends at the same point.

AEW is covered by the Special Squadron.

ECM is in the game.

Heavy Bombers are a tricky one - this game is primarily aimed at the Naval side of things, and Heavy Bombers were principally used for the patrol role by Naval/Coastal forces.

Soviet Naval Aviation would disagree.... fully developed tactics, doctrine, and equipment for using heavies in a naval sphere.

It's a solid "asymmetric tactic" if you can't afford to build (or just.... can't build) a viable carrier fleet, but you've mastered aluminum tubes and jet engines. If you're mostly concerned with interdicting SLOCs, or making it prohibitively risky for your opponent to send his CVBG into your backyard, a multi-regiment AShM-armed Badger strike would be pretty handy.

I can think of lots of RTW nations that might choose to go that route.
