Bad Anniversary Update

Post by Omnius »

I'm really miffed that this new 1.3.1.1 anniversary update has brought my play to a screeching halt. I can no longer build mining stations with my manually controlled construction ships. I can build monitoring, research or resort stations fine. I have 91 mining locations, including 23 colonies. I have 68 mining stations and I doubt that's a real limit. Looks like a bug to me as I was building them just fine in 1.3.0.3. I can't reverse that pathetic update on Steam as I don't have access to the test feature where in some games we can dial back the version to a prior one.

It also seems like there's a problem with facility costs that I saw reported on Steam. Really sad that this pathetic anniversary update was rushed out without proper beta testing. I'm really miffed that I have to stop playing until this new bug is fixed so I can resume building mining stations again and the facility costs are correctly reporting.

The game has vastly improved since first released. These updates are excellent and the fact that the Devs listen to feedback and incorporate suggestions makes this a true collaboration between the fanbase and the development team.

What strategy 4x space empire game do you play that is perfect? Please let me know and I will purchase it immediately. DW is my favorite go to game, it has everything that you could possibly want in a space 4x game. It reminds me of Space Empires 3-5, which I played religiously since I was young. It just has that quality to it that makes each game more fun than the last. There is always something to learn and some new strategy to try.
