WDS games old JTS games

Post by gamer78 »

Sorry to post here "** Note ** Updates can only be applied to a 4.04 version Clean Install. If you did that when 4.04 was released in June of 2024 then you can proceed with the update below.

If not, then you must uninstall your existing copy then download a new installer from your Store Account in order to do a fresh installation. This will then have you on the latest version and no further patching is required.

Contact the Help Desk with any issues or questions."

I think Steam better here automatic updates. I have France'14 with key and unzip this update after years and doesn't work. Well do I have to e-mail after each updates here? Sorry gain perhaps veterans may answer.

Interesting thing is what is store account? 4.00 is the base version of WDS games. I've those installs. I don't even remember what e-mail I've used last time. Now 4.04 version for clean Install, well wargaming should be tough. :D

If you go to their website - https://forum.wargameds.com/, there is an option along the top 'WDS User Account'. That gives you access to all your purchases - if you've forgotten passwords or whatever just email them, they are incredibly helpful.

Find the order where you bought say France 14 and download the current version. Delete whatever is now on your PC and reinstall off the download.

I think they did this as they wanted to make a systemic shift to the game engine and to align a number of the series, you'll find the UI is now much more common across the entire catalogue.

Once you've made this shift its just a case of download and install any subsequent patches - you can get these via the 'support' page

Most of the games have had a couple of updates since the initial switch, but the version on your order will patch you to the most recent

Thanks Loki100 great to see you back. Previously they were indeed very hepful and give me new installs (WDS 4.00 version) and keys from my e-mail account for 3 old JTS games . Problem it seems I can not access that e-mail adress it seems blocked. I'll try from different e-mail adress for their support. As I've the keys and somehow I remember when I purchase those games.

When I first started with WDS it was right after they took over from JTS but prior to JT passing. I contacted them we had a few rounds of emails with me taking photos from the JTS CD cases (remember those?) and (luckily) some old emails from my old E-Mail account and they sorted it out, gave me new WDS keys for my old JTS games. They were so helpful and kind they made me a customer for life, and I have since purchased almost every product in their catalog (sans the naval series).

Their customer service is way beyond top notch. They are simply the best.
