Strategic Command: American Civil War - Concert of Europe | Announcement + beta

Post by NotTooBad »

A new DLC for Strategic Command: American Civil War is coming: Concert of Europe. Covering the transformative years from 1854 to 1877, it takes you into an age of nationalism, shifting alliances, and decisive wars that shaped modern Europe.

Five campaigns will lead you from the Crimean War to the rise of Bismarck’s Germany, through Italy’s unification and the conflicts of the Balkans. Each brings new strategic challenges, maps, and leaders.

Beta sign-ups are now open for those who want early access and the opportunity to provide feedback before release.

Sign up for the beta here.

In my opinion, Hubert prépares in the future a more heavy piece of cake than this little DLC...

Is he testing the waters to prepare us for a 1870 war, then a Napoleonic war ?

Hubert is a crafty little fellow...

1870 has been in the game for a while now: https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopic.php?t=390854

But the rest of the stories of Napoleon III and Bismarck (and Garibaldi too ;) ) are too interesting for me to leave them untold!

The 1870 campaign was great.

Looking forward to the Crimean war.

Hopefully I'll be accepted into the Beta. I enjoyed beta testing the Civil War.

Damned, I missed that (I have not ACW, this war theater does not interest me).

Is 1870 campaign automatically included as official campaign in the ACW last update product ? (or is it a free separated DLC ?)

Yes, both it and 1904 Imperial Sunrise are both part of the base game with the latest patch.

"1877 – Feel Not the Red Rains Fall
Tsar Alexander II seizes his chance to strike at the Ottoman Empire. Cross rivers, storm fortresses, and endure the Balkan winter in a campaign to raise the Russian flag over Constantinople, before the British arrive to claim it for themselves."

Thanks for designing it. "93 Harbi" as a year -Ottoman Turkish- only remembered as defense of Pleven region.

ok, thanks. Hubert is crazy, he's going to ruin himself by giving away free games to players.
