Modding Strategies.....

Post by HansBolter »

So in my infant wisdom, I undertook to modify the Day of Infamy campaign due mostly to the severe underrepresentation of the Allied at start forces.

I quickly learned that adding strength to the Allies results in a heavy skewed outcome in their favor by mid 42.

While its pretty easy to beef up Japan in response with regard to land warfare in China and Burma, it is not so easy to increase their invasion strength. Simply adding more invasion forces results in them sitting unused. Presumably this is due to the lack of direction for those forces in AI scripts.

Wading into editing AI scripts isn't something that is very appealing to me.

Can anyone with more experience in modding give me some pointers on how best to go about creating a viable nod?
