Resize of map

In editor, we may resize map
But the resize, in case of reduction, does always reduce by east and south

I am working about something and I would be able to reduce the Europe map by west and north (I want to erase America and north-Europe).

Is it possible ? And if yes, how to proceed ? I tried to add the "-" symbol but it does not work
