Experienced vs AI, looking to play first PvP

Hello all!

I've played quite a bit against AI (most as the germans, a few times as soviets), but never played against another player, and I want to change that, since I've heard it's a completely different experience. Willing to play either side, and up for any rules (since I don't really know what makes for a better multiplayer experience). I might take a turn or two to figure out how this PvP process works, so any tips are welcome.
