Aircraft / Factory Confusion

Post by Dereck »

Looking at my old scenario, another modded scenario and the vanilla scenarios I'm a little confused after trying to remember what I did 13 years ago. This is also referring to the allies and not the Japanese.

I'm "thinking" that in WITP aircraft production is determined from the build rate field in the aircraft tab. However, there are some aircraft that also have factories. It seems, however that most just have values in the build rate field.

So, what's confusing me is: if the build rate field determines aircraft production WHY are there some that also have factories?

Thanks

Off map production vs on map production that can be bombed . . .

On map production can also upgrade or not upgrade . . .
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o
