Surface Pro ARM

Post by charleso »

Do Matrix games run on recent Surface Pros, with the SnapDragon (ARM), processors? I’ve been out of the Windows world for a while, and was thinking of getting back in with the Surface Pro, when I found out that the newer ones use an emulator to run existing Windows software. Apparently the emulator runs most, but not all software.

nothing has been tested on arm cpu's, and regarding emulators etc, it's only as good as the emulator, so your guess would be a good as anyone here, it's a try and see approach with no support help if it doesn't work, as it's a hardware issue etc which i'd guess can't be fixed or altered either in code on our side, that would be down to who wrote the emulation software code im sorry to say

I hope this development will allow Windows and Android to be merged into a single device, offering maximum hardware efficiency and optimal performance.
