Marco Polo scenario AI flies plane back and forth every turn...

Post by Tanaka »

I am sieging a port city and noticed the AI flies this bomber back and forth to this airfield every turn. Seems to be an issue here...

Yeah sometimes the AI will try and boost the air coverage in an area, then once there determine it is threatened and retreat, e.g. the formulas for these calculations don't always line up.

One suggestion would be for situations like this to lock the air unit in place with a GARRISON script so it doesn't behave this way

Perhaps if the AI air units were programmed to stay away from any airfield with a unit at least two hexes away?

Won't have to worry about that in a MP match. :D
