Gettysburg 1863

Post by Curtis Lemay »

Attached is my latest new scenario: Gettysburg 1863.

This is a companion scenario to my earlier Shiloh 1862 and Chickamauga 1863.

Merry Christmas!

Note that I've now updated my website (found in my signature) to include this new scenario.

Thanks and keep it up! I have no interest in 20th century warfare but still love the game (managed to pile up 50 hours on Steam since I first got it less than a week ago), so 19th century scenarios help to keep me interested.

Your Shiloh campaign is the first one where I really sat down and started to immerse myself with the game, by opening a text editor to write down formation compositions, regiment names, battle plans and a journal sort of. I guess seasoned players have no need for that, but it really helped me make some sense out of it all.

Will give Gettysburg a try in a few days, atm I'm busy having a go at scenario creation (thanks for editor tutorial as well :P).

Thanks, Bob! I've found a way to quickly convert JTS ACW games to TOAW. Will test a couplet to see how they play out. Was hoping to convert the FBR (First Bull Run) soon for test. :)
