Steel Inferno DLC issue

I just purchased War in East 3 and the Steel Inferno DLC. I installed the main game, updated it to the latest version. I tried to install the DLC but it tells me to download the latest DLC installer or unlock with the latest multiUpdate installer. I didn't see another patch so I'm guessing that is a pervious patch to the game. How do I install the DLC? Thanks

Could you please tell us exactly what files you're downloading and which installers you're running?

I have version 1.04.01 of war in the East 2
I downloaded the Steel Inferno installer, GGWarInTheEast2-SteelInferno-SetupRelease-v01.03.11
I go to install the game and it tells me: Please download the latest DLC installer for Steel Inferno or unlock with the latest
Multiupdate installer.
Is there a later version of the DLC that I need to use to install it?

Just to be clear; You purchased at Matrixgames and used the Matrixgames installer to set up WitE2 ?

I see you have WITE2 updated to 1.04.01. The installer you used to update the game to this version is a MultiUpdate installer, which allows users to install and update multiple products as long as you have serial keys for them. If you have a serial key to unlock Steel Inferno DLC, we recommend using this multiupdate installer to activate Steel Inferno to install it and update it to the latest version. You do not need to use the Steel Inferno Setup Release installer in this case as it's an older version installer than 1.04.01.

Can you please elaborate how to do this? I have also bought Steel Inferno and have the same issue... My updater app is updated to latest version, but when I start it it just confirms the existing game is up to date and if I start Steel inferno installation, it requests I download the newest update app...Thanky you in advance for the answer.

There is a drop down box that has the main game and the steel inferno DLC, click Steel Inferno DLC then in the box under it put in your serial number to the DLC and run the patch. That should do it.

I have followed these same instructions to install the Steel Inferno DLC, but after entering my serial number I get the message invalid serial number. I have made sure I entered in the correct number and I can see it matches the one listed in the GUI below for "the following products have been activated".

I purchased the DLC today from the Matrix website and my version of WITE2 is a DVD that I purchased and got in the mail from Matrix when it first came out.

Ideas?

Ok I resolved the issue. I was using the serial number for WITE2. Under "My Page" I found the serial number for Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2: Steel Inferno. I used that with the installer GGWarInTheEast2-MultiUpdateComp-v01.04.05 and activated the DLC.
