Ship Repair/Rearm

Post by Dereck »

I remember making this when WITE:AE first came out. But I don't remember exactly how. I must have used some calculations or something so I can't confirm this is correct or not but in case that it is.

This is only for British, Dutch, French and US Navy ships.

So on average, 40mm AA guns are harder to reload than 3in - 5in DP guns. Interesting.

It is probably not "harder" but it is probably more ammo, at least in tonnage due to the higher rate of fire.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

Yes it's wieght. 40mm ammo was provided in clips of four which themsleves would have been in boxes. I've no idea how many but it would have been much heavier than a single shell/cartridge. I've ammoed and de-ammoed ships with 4.5" guns and it's typically a clear low deck effort, passing them in a long chain. I never did it with ammo boxes of any kind.

Makes sense.
The devs thought of (almost) everything.
