Supply in Egypt

In our recent game, supply in Egypt was kinda baffling. There is an intact CW cp-line from the Red Sea to primary supply source.
There is no CW HQ in the area but why are the CW troops out of supply?

The best we can guess is that it is a bug where Cairo is no longer functioning as a secondary supplysource.

And if that is true why is the ART out of supply? Should it not be close enough to the port on its own?

Our theory at the moment:
Arty is in supply from Cairo but the Cairo railpath passes through a ZOC thus cannot reach Suez.

Have you checked if it is the 'update' supply bug? Re-loading the save fixes that one.

Can not look at the picture provided. Could you upload it here? Or a save?

(I am not beta tester but an experienced WIF and MWIF player).

Zocs do not block supply when there are friendly units in those hexes as well. Supply should have reached Cairo. From Cairo it should reach the two units.

Even if it had not reached Cairo the stack with the ART should get it through Suez (99% sure).

Looks like a bug and I have experienced them in tha area, as well.

Thank you both.
It was indeed the update-bug, was not aware of that bug, but a save and reload made it all better. Thank you.

I am not so sure that the Arty can get supply directly from Suez. Since it is in a rainhex it only a range of 2 hexes for supply and a desert hex cost 2 which leaves the supply 1 short since it costs 1 extra for supply to enter port. Correct?
The whole rain thing was new to me, i have always just counted each rainy hex to cost 2.

I started playing WIF in the 90s, first edition and have playing on and off over the years, and still I am learning basic things about the game all the time. How many mistakes have been made over the years?
